Chinese Baptist Church is sovereign and democratic Baptist church under the lordship of Jesus Christ. The membership retains unto itself the exclusive right of self-government in all phases of the spiritual and temporal life of this church.
Participants versus Members
We welcome all Christian brothers and sisters to participate in many activities and ministries of this church. In most cases, people who are not yet believers are also welcome to take part since reaching out to share the Gospel is one of our primary goals. However, as a self-governing local church, we need a group of Christians who identify this church as their home church, i.e., their base of learning and of serving. These are the MEMBERS. They are involved in all functions of this church and make decisions collectively for the church.

- By restoration upon a statement of prior conversion experience and baptism in a Baptist church when no letter is obtainable.
